What a full groom includes
A full groom includes a wash in high quality dog grooming products, blow dried, ears cleaned, nails clipped, anal glands (if need doing) and clipped/scissored or hand stripped to owners request.
We use high quality products, such as Hydra shampoos and conditioners, relaxing facials, volumizing, de matting and finishing sprays. We are all animal first aid trained and qualified groomers with years of experience.

Breed standard and pet grooms
From big to small, pedigree or mixed breed, all dogs are groomed to a very high standard in a fully insured, calm environment.
Hand stripping
Tiff, our main groomer, is highly experienced in hand stripping for the coats that need it.
Wash, blow dry and de-shed
We also offer a wash and blow dry, and de-sheds, for short haired and double coated breeds of any size.
Extras
Ultrasound teeth cleaning
No noise, no vibration, no stress. Helps bad breath, healthier gums and teeth.
Anal glands
Expressing of the anal glands if requested by the owner. Included with a full groom.
Nail clipping
Essential for healthy paws. Included with a full groom.
Ear cleaning and plucking
Cleaning of the ear and removing any excess hair if the owner requests. Included with a full groom.
De-shed treatment
A watermelon de-shedding shampoo (which smells amazing!) followed by a conditioning de-shed treatment with Dead Sea minerals, massaged in to get all that dead undercoat out. Added to a groom.
Blueberry facials
A relaxing spa treatment to finish.

Meet Tiff
Tiff is the owner of Brite Barks. She started her grooming career in 2012 at the College of Animal Welfare. Brite Barks was established in 2013.
She has competed at many competitions across the country and has won and placed at many, competing with Miniature Poodles, Labradoodles and Miniature Schnauzers. Tiff is passionate about dog grooming and is always attending competitions, seminars and doing more exams to become the best she can be.
She has had dogs from a young age, a Japanese Akita and a Siberian Husky called Sage and Dasher, and now owns a Miniature Schnauzer called Jack. Her favourite breeds are Huskies, Schnauzers, Corgis, Poodles and Dalmatians.

Before you book
Our cancellation policy, so everyone knows where they stand.
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice if you can’t make your appointment. All no show or cancelled appointments are to be paid for in full if you do not follow our policy.
If you let us know within the 48 hours, we’ll try to fill the appointment from our cancellation list. If we manage to fill it, there is no charge.
There is a charge for every hour your dog is left with us after we have contacted you to say they are ready, and for every 15 minutes after closing hours.
If you fail to pay for a missed appointment, your dog will be removed from our client list and you’ll no longer be able to book at Brite Barks.
If you block book for the year and miss an appointment, or cancel with less than 48 hours notice, and do not pay the fee, we will cancel all future appointments.
